Q: What is the different between an "Engine Replacement" and an "Engine Change"?
A: The "Engine Replacement" is a rebuilt, remanufactured, used or new engine of the same make, number of cylinders, and engine family (test group) as the original engine with original emission comtrol devices reinstalled. The "Engine Change" is the installation of the engine that is different from original engine installed in the vehicle and does not qualify as a "Replacement Engine".
